review: sheinside

hello little cupcakes!~

today i'm doing my first review for sheinside~ this time i'm reviewing the oversized apricot batwing sweater~

for those who don't know sheinside, it's a china based online clothing store which was founded in 2008 that sells a big variety of amazing clothes for affordable prices.

i placed my order on february 6th and was notified of its shippment the same day! the package finally arrived on my doorsteps on february 18th. so the overall process took 10 workdays which is perfect!

the sweater arrived in a big white envelope~

after opening the package i was actually surprised about how heavy the sweater actually was, but this is a good thing since it means that the sweater is made of sturdy/quality material and it will keep you warm~

i really like how the pattern changes at the middle of the sleeve~ i think it makes the sweater rather interesting!

sorry for so many photos but i just felt so cute in this sweater

 however, due to the oversized look, the sweater can easily make you look a bit chubby ;A;

 here i tried tucking it into my pants but this doesn't really work with highwaisted jeans lol

the sweater is really cozy and comfortable to wear; it will also keep you extra warm~

design

i'm in love with this item! i think the oversized sweater will make every girl wearing it look extra cute~

fitting

since the sweater has a very loose fitting it will fit girls of most sizes! my mum who is a bit chubbier and taller than i am tried it on too and it fits her just as nicely!

however, i wish the neckline wouldn't be //that// wide but a bit tighter but that's just my preference

quality

the quality is p.e.r.f.e.c.t! tbh i didn't expect the sweater to be made of such good material! there were no loose threads or any bad seams at all and the sweater definitely keeps you warm during the colder days!

overall

all in all, i'm really happy with this sweater and if you're looking for a cozy, warm sweater for an affordable price this one is definitely the one to go for!

today i'm reviewing the floral print kimono and the striped poncho from beautiful halo

if you don't know beautiful halo by now, it's a china-based online store that offers a big variety of really fashionable clothing such as dresses and various tops and bottoms of different styles for fair prices.

i placed my order on january 17th and received a shipping cornfimation including a tracking number on january 27th. the package finally arrived on my doorsteps on february 9th, so the overall process took 19 workdays which is okay considering it came all the way from china!

 the items arrived in the typical dark grey plastic bag

 the package contained the striped poncho and the floral print kimono~

shipping the shipping took 19 workdays which is definitely not bad for oversea shipping! i think this was as far the fasted shipping i had with beautiful halo~

i was actually a bit surprised when i saw that the tag said 'asos' which is a known online clothing store based in london. i guess this means that this kimono is/was also sold through their online shop~

this is an unedited close-up of the print; i love the flowers~ i think the print adds a really feminine and elegant look to the kimono~

design

it's a simple yet stunning design; i love the floral print and the colors in it! fitting

the fitting is perfect; it's not too big nor too tight~ quality

there were very few loose threads but this is completely normal; i think this kimono is well made despite it's really simple design (it's actually just a big piece of fabric sewn together on two sides)

striped poncho

material: acrylic, wool

length: 67cm

sleeve length: 48cm

at first i though the tag said h&m which is also a known fashion store but i think it's just some random tag lol

sorry about the unevenness at the back;; somehow i only noticed it while editing lol

 the poncho doesn't really has sleeves (hence it's called a //poncho//)

design

the poncho in the stock photo seemes to be a lot longer than the one i received, i would have liked it more that way but i still think it's a cute clothing piece~ fitting

i'm not really sure about the fitting because i don't know how it actually //should// fit but i guess it's okay(?) quality

this one had a few more loose threads but this is also nothing some good scissors couldn't handle!

overall

all in all, i'm really pleased with this order and i would definitely recommend buying the floral print kimono since it's a beautiful clothing piece for an affordable price (kimonos cost about twice this price in my country!) and also the poncho is a cute item which can be combined with a lot different outfits~
